It uses their research and knowledge to provide expert services for  domestic and international customers and partners, and serves both private and public sectors. CRF, founded in 1978, has the mission to develop and transfer innovative products, processes and methodologies in order to improve the competitiveness of the products of FCA. In the SOMA project, CRF will participate with the Global Materials Laboratories, GML, the materials and process engineering of FCA in EMEA with all competence and equipment for the study and development of materials and processes, for the final testing and evaluation of components, subsystems, and the full vehicles.
